My name is Martin and I'm a huge Dune fan.
How huge? I run dunenavigator.com.

And that's the origin story of this game: I wrote a piece on the Hobbies of Dune, and Cheops stuck with me. I had to build it.

I built a dozen variations of the game - different pieces, pieces starting in different places, routes to the Apex opened and closed. But there is no way to tell from the page which of them is the better one - so the computer played them.

Weeks of it playing itself, until each version had a shape I could see: how long games ran, how often they were drawn, how much the pieces were worth, etc etc.

It's a labour of love and I hope you enjoy it.
